Super Bowl 2012: BRADY vs. MANNING Part Deux

I will start off by saying that those two Conference Championship games yesterday were exactly what a championship game for a chance to go to the Super Bowl should be like. Neck to neck all the way to the last second. The New England Patriots won 23-20 over the Baltimore Ravens after a missed 32 yard field goal attempt by the Raven’s Billy Cundiff that would have tied the game and send it to overtime. That was definitely an O-M-G moment for both sides of the field. The New York Giants beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in overtime with a winning field goal by Giants’ Lawrence Tynes. Candlestick Field was a sloppy mess, the snap wasn’t perfect and that was after a delay of game by the Giants and a timeout by the 49ers that could have “iced” the kicker. Nail-biter for sure.

The 2012 Super Bowl XLVI is February 5, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. Vegas already has the Patriots favored 3 points over the Giants. But as we all know, that doesn’t mean much with games like this. The Patriots were 12 point favorites in 2008 and the Giants upset them 17-14 ending the Patriots undefeated season. This Super Bowl will be a shoot out and down to who will have the last possession.

That being said, I am ready for some Super Bowl party food, the commercials and a great game. SUPER BOWL COUNTDOWN BEGINS - 13 DAYS!
